Born and raised in North Carolina, I currently work out of the city of Asheville.

I developed my love for music through the iconic melody of Metallica's Ride the Lightning album, through the grandiose scores for the movies Hook and The Mask of Zorro, and through the melancholy soundtrack from the Dragon Warrior series.​

I began by writing short melodies on my grandparents' piano, and as I've grown older the melodies have just gotten longer and more complicated. I co-founded Aether Realm in 2010, writing and performing bass and vocal duties. We've been touring regularly since 2012, and have released three albums: One Chosen by the Gods (2013), Tarot (2017), and Redneck Vikings From Hell (2020).

Additionally I've been writing, producing, and performing synthwave and related electronic music under the name Starfaux since 2018. 

In 2020 I began work with Sabotage Studio, assisting lead composer and sound designer Eric W. Brown with music and audio integration for their upcoming RPG Sea of Stars.

I've written music for Epic Games, Sabotage Studio, Napalm Records, independent businesses and creators, personal commissions, and I'm excited to write for (or with) you!
